Title: Measurement of the WW cross-section and triple gauge couplings at OPAL

Abstract: A study of W-pair and production in e+e- collisions at LEP energies up to 183 GeV is presented. Using all decay channels, the total W+W- cross-section is measured as well as the leptonic and hadronic branching fractions, from which a value for the CKM matrix element |Vcs| is extracted. The measured cross-section and the angular distributions of the selected events are analysed in terms of the triple gauge boson couplings. Both single parameter and multi-parameter fits are performed. No significant deviations from the Standard Model are observed. Presented also is a spin density matrix element analysis of the W-boson helicity structure.
