Abstract: This paper reviews the discovery of the B_c meson and advances in D meson spectroscopy, b-hadron lifetimes and the CKM matrix elements V_td, V_cb, and V_ub. It also looks at recent developments in D-Dbar mixing, rare hadronic B decays and b -> s gamma.
