Title: Global QCD Analysis of Parton Distributions

Abstract: Recent global QCD analyses of high energy lepton-hadron and hadron-hadroninteractions are reviewed. New data on asymmetries in Drell-Yan andW-lepton-asymmetry processes contribute to better determine the $d / u$ratio; while improved experimental data on inclusive jet production, inconjunction with precise deep inelastic scattering data, place goodconstraints on the gluon over a wide range of $x$. Relevant theoreticalconsiderations are discussed. Comparisons of the results of the CTEQ5 andMRST analyses are made; and their differences are described. Open issues andthe general problem of determining the uncertainties of parton distributionsare discussed.
