Title: Magnets for the Very Large Hadron Collider

Abstract: Initial work toward a proton-proton collider with energy much higher than the LHC at CERN is now underway. Study groups are looking at magnets, accelerator physics, and other accelerator systems for a vlhc (very large hadron collider). Magnet R\&D, underway at several locations, is summarized.
